Chrysoprase
The name of the chrysoprase stone comes to us from Greek words, the word “chrysos”
which means “golden” and the word “prason” which means “leek”. It can thus be translated
as Poireau Doré or Poireau d’Or.

Chrysoprase was also called, still by the ancient Greeks, the Stone of Venus,
because the stonewas, like the goddess, of incomparable beauty.
Chrysoprase
stone was used in various ancient cultures. We find traces of it in Greek and
Roman civilizations, but also in Egyptian culture.

Chrysoprase holds a strong symbolism of metamorphosis or maturation.
It is a stone that accompanies
during life transitions, during major personal
or professional changes.
