Malacolla is a combination of Malachite and Chrysocolla making a bright display of green and blue, sometimes blended to a deep aqua color. Both Malachite and Chrysocolla tend to form in botryoidal or rounded masses. Malachite is a green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, one of the first ores of coppe and Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper phyllosilicate mineral, named for the Greek word for gold and glue, an allusion to the first material to solder gold. Malacolle is a combination of Malachite and Chrysocolla making a luminous amalgam of green and blue, sometimes mixed with a deep aqua color. It is associated with the heart and throat chakras, zodiac sign of Scorpio, Sagittarius, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo and Capricorn and vibrates at the number 7.
